Ive had these conversations with church types and it always boiled down too "white people have privilege and thus have chosen sin where as the poor africans were born into it and must be saved" anything that breaks that paradigm freaks these people out. It doesn't help that most churches i went too were for hoity toity rich people and the pastor or whatever was himself an upper classer. They view poor or destitute whites as lesser thans and see no reason to even think about helping them they also get big money from the government to do minority community out reach they serve zero religious purpose at all.
