This is a concerning trend in Germany as well. As parents, we often try to shield our children from anything negative—whether it’s falling down, receiving criticism, eating unpleasant foods, or experiencing failure in sports and academics.

While our intentions are to protect them, we unintentionally deprive them of valuable opportunities to learn, improve, and most importantly, build resilience.

Resilience is arguably one of the most crucial skills in a person’s life. I’m genuinely worried that our children are losing this essential quality.

What impact will this have on our country?
