I haven't had to send an international payment in a while but I know what you mean. Had to have a meeting with our financial advisor about retirement funds the other day. Even though he likes Bitcoin, he doesn't understand a thing about it. And doesn't agree with our allocation.
Just having to discuss financial products in the fiat system was a tedious clown world experience.
