I try hard to avoid US politics these days but the headlines that are seeping into my timeline nonetheless really do feel bleak and dark. It's truly horrible. Minorities and the marginalised will suffer most and the rich and powerful gain the most. What we can do here in Aotearoa is work to limit the spread of the disease here. Just like we did with COVID. We must make this a one-term government.
