I'm not going to sit here and tell you our little instance is some sort of impenetrable fortress (it's not). What I will say is that I personally vet anyone who gets an account here (even if that vetting is as simple as "are we friends? do I know you? have you generally been an okay guy?") and I DO NOT ASK FOR AN E-MAIL ADDRESS FROM ANYONE, not even a burner. I also keep full offsite backups so if someone did fuck things up irreparably somehow we'd only lose a couple days of posts, tops.
Not advertising off this, as it's fucked up what happened and I'm sorry for those guys even if I wasn't personally a huge fan (anyone affected: please DM me if there's anything I can do for you), but if anyone out there is thinking of setting up an alt somewhere, just message me and I'll get you an invite. If you're thinking of starting your own little instance, I'm more than happy to talk shop all day for free or probably even do it for you for a couple bucks.
