Once you receive your payout from Spotify, depending on label agreements, whatever you make will be split several ways. Publishing company, writers on the song, collaborators on the song. I’m forgetting one other split. Probably to BMI and or ascap or whoever you’re with.
THEN the label comes in for theirs.
This is why I’m getting to work on the unionizing AND congressional side.
