I started reading New York 2140 — it has been recommended by a few ppl as a #solarpunk book. The first impressions are: interesting premise and kind of a disjointed narrative. 1st chapter is a dialogue happening in a vacuum (no descriptions, we know nothing about the ppl talking besides their names, not where they are, how they sound, whether they move, etc.), and a few author's comments are in 3d person, present tense. 2nd one is in 3d person, past tense. 3d one — 1st person, past tense. 1/2
