I should have mentioned that it is mostly about the GTK3/4 theme I referred to. Although I already customized the CSS a bit to my needs, I don't want to go into it for the border decoration. On the other hand, I barely see borders because either in maximized window state or full screen CLI 🤓
So after all it isn't really annoying.
