I've just been at the launch of Il Mercato Centrale, Melbourne's new food hall devoted to artisanal Italian food. Some fantastic eats there (the cannoli are amazing!); I suspect it'll be a huge success once people know where it is.

Also a great adaptive reuse of the former McPherson's hardware building down the west end of the CBD at 546 Collins Street. Nice to see it finally being occupied again.
