You may have missed (I certainly did) that on Thursday in Manchester two Just Stop Oil protestors were acquitted of charges related to gluing themselves to a Turner landscape in Manchester Art Gallery in July 2022.

Partly a reflection of judicial discretion, and perhaps also a reflection of local support for the campaign (?), for Just Stop Oil this will be an interesting case; will the CPS now appeal the acquittal, or will it stand?
