Childbirth has been deemed a medical procedure, and we’ve been conditioned to think we can’t do it with their help.
Not disregarding that there are complications surrounding birth or possible medical needs of the freshly birthed, I’m afraid American society as a whole has lost the nurture part of birthing babies.
