I feel awful that we're being so irresponsible with the power we have. We owe it to the rest of the world to be better neighbors.
Having visited the local museum and stared down the deep, terrible hole where the Titan missile sinks into the ground what seems like forever, I know there's tons more where that came from and even newer, more horrible things being dreamt up and made by the MIC. The least we can do is be somewhat sober and halfway sane with the kind of world-ending arsenal of things that shouldn't exist at our disposal.
At the same time, boring average people like me, we're hostages to this nonsense, too. If you don't have $ you don't have much say. Again, gerrymandering, Citizens United, etc. I'm hoping for a better outcome for everyone's sake. And I'll vote for ANYONE but Trump & the GOP each time I can & protest. I'm genuinely sorry if that's not enough.
