This is kind of hard to explain, but I love music and experimentation so much that I am a kind of extreme non-perfectionist. I play cello, violin, keyboard, guitar, bass, mandolin, octave mandolin, etc. And to me what I love most is all the sounds, the timbres and those amazing few seconds when everything comes together. I'm also amazed when things fall apart. There is an element of making music that is a sort of organized noise that fires off my brain in a million new ways and takes me to places that I've never been. A wrong note, or something out of place is a bit of an adventure. I do need a few right notes to go with it, but they don't have to all be right. I don't think there are a lot of musicians that feel this way, but for me it is kind of the whole thing. #music #improv #experimentation #bass #cello #violin #keyboard #mandolin
