I think you’re right. There has to be an event horizon moment where quickly putting fiat out of its misery will result in less total suffering than continuing a gradual transition.

If that’s true, maybe it’s better to do so sooner and get it over with then to wait any longer than is necessary. The bandaid has to get ripped off. It likely won’t be at the best time.

I don’t like that digital dollar adoption is part of the transition. I’m just not smart enough to come up with a better way.
