Yesterday I had a fairly common operation. Nothing serious and I'm recovering well.
During my 12 hour stay in hospital I was attended to by at least
- 4 nurses
- 2 surgeons
- 2 anaesthetists
- 3 porters
I had various medications, drugs and equipment including a bed that cost over £4k and a fully stocked operating theatre. I had brilliant care and treatment throughout by these professionals.

**Cost to me: zero**

I love the #NHS and feel sad for those without it.
