isn’t there a whole Fusion energy push happening right now?
My congress critters seem to be excited about #SMR. I don’t have an informed opinion* about how realistic county-scale #fusion is, but if it’s at all possible that would be a rewarding thing to spend the work day on.
*my uninformed opinion is: Fusion power would be a miracle. Thus people who don’t like their current energy options (all of us, basically) will tend to be over-optimistic about it.
