Yes there are other currencies that derive their value from silver initially not like the US dollar when was backed by gold, but I think the skekel conveys that more clearly than saying moose Peso or moose Dinar or the moose Riyal. Yes, it probably because of my Judeo-Christian upbringing.

It will not be long until our Canadian dollar will be worth the same as 5 cents used to be worth and then maybe I change to beaver shekel
