Sofia (nprofile…vtsg) so when hardware and software advance to a significant degree then if neither large SKU-changing versions nor small incremental updates have a reason to exist then how would the operating system have advanced past, for example, windows 3.1? and then eventually add something like USB support in uhhh... 98 i think?
is this a "it was never necessary" view? "not necessary now" one? like the whole thing is just so vague that i don't know what the nuts and bolts of this view are, the concept is so alien to me that i don't know where to attach to get a starting point.
