Anything over a dozen lines can’t really be trusted. It’s almost impossible to write automated tests. And bash can be a resource hog. It’s a debugging nightmare.
(I could go on, but, if your comfortable with it, you’re probably not looking for reasons to stop using it. Even after citing a perfect reason to move on.)
