i am not on the fediverse to publicize my small business, but a lot of people are about to try to use it for that, and i feel bad for them. maybe if you find the right niche instance for your niche product it will work, but this protocol is **terrible** for the serendipitous connection/discovery of accounts you didn't know you were going to like.
