I think it's happening but the trick is being able to follow people who are having those conversations. Cruising global to find it is like sifting through a septic tank to find a diamond ring. Can't recommend nostrgram.co enough now though. With only a few paid relays and tweeking the settings on Global, the feed is essentially zero spam again.
