Putnam County, Fla. — Eight youths were arrested in less than 13 hours after two stolen vehicle incidents. On Feb. 19, five teens fled a truck and trailer stolen from a church; Lashawn Staten, 16, faces felonies including grand theft. Trust Shorter, 16, and Christopher Session, 14, along with two other juveniles were arrested. Hours later, Santonio Carr, 14, and Traevion Curry, 14, were caught after a stolen DoorDash vehicle crashed; Curry had a firearm. A third juvenile was turned into police by his parents and arrested on a warrant. Users on Facebook were angry with the police for publishing the suspect's photos.
