While American citizens lose liberties and are submitted to an increasing digital police state, the US Gov does quite well:
1. A renewed market for treasuries, which is probably priority no 1 within the context of monetary hegemony.
2. Driving the dollar regime deeper into cyberspace, and across the world.
3. Establishing a #DigitalIdentity economy suitable for the enhancement of governmence for the internet age, ala Beijing-like digital tyranny.
4. Powering next gen "terror scoring" via partners like Palantir et all.
5. Controlling and taxing #Bitcoin flows that enter and exit the stablecoin economy.
6. Automating all taxation, eliminating need for IRS and ERS enforcement.

quoting nevent1q…2748Do #stablecoins have the same 'finality' quality as #Bitcoin? If I get defrauded out of some dollar coins in my consumer wallet, is there no recourse?
That seems *worse* than a typical checking account, credit card, or PayPal/Venmo... What exactly does holding dollars "on chain" give me?
1. No rights or guarantees against dilution or other forms of confiscation.
2. Subject to even greater surveillance, likely biometric facial scans at account creation.
3. Programmatic rulesets dictating how and when I can spend currency seems imminent.
4. And now I don't even have the consumer safety features that make reversing fraudulent payments easy?
What on earth is the value proposition to end users? Slightly enhanced ability to transfer/spend overseas?
😂
