The hotel grounds are so big that we keep getting lost. There is a map but it’s in very tiny print and hard to follow. There has been some bickering about how to find restaurant A or pool B, I think we are both tired after travelling and poor sleep and it’s showing. Hoping to have time for a nap this afternoon.

Fun thing about the room is that the bathroom door is sliding, not particularly close to the wall, and doesn’t close all the way. Tom and I are not the kind of couple that are comfortable with hearing each other’s toilet doings. Mind you, we once stayed in a guest house in the Lake District where the en suite didn’t have a door at all. Way out of our comfort zone. We had to take turns going down to the lounge to give each other privacy
