And it's not a friend visiting Israel but some of my family members visiting family in Tel Aviv. I know very well what it's like to care about safety, but the way Israel is responding to Oct 7th goes way, way beyond security. And most of my friends and family in Israel, as well as what I read on social media and in the media, do show clear dehumanization of Palestinians.
