#WritersCoffeeClub 9. What motivates you to keep going when sales are low?
30+ years ago when I was selling tarot cards and other divination tools at SF cons, I also sold a very few pamphlets and calendars that I self-pubbed, and some copies of my own tool, The Net of Mirrors. Those are the only sales of my own stuff I have ever made.
Lack of sales has never stopped me from writing fiction.
An additional income stream would be nice (having readers would be nicer), but it is not why I write.
