I've had a really positive experience with harica.gr with a problem renewing the TLS cert for one of my .onion domains.
A quick, helpful response, and I've successfully renewed the cert before expiry.
Not as simple as using Let's Encrypt, of course, but LE doesn't offer certs for .onionspace :(
