I've made incredibly strong connections with friends since joining the fandom, but part of me misses the thousands of hours on Xbox live in highschool with the friends I made playing games.

I love my friends and I wouldn't trade them for anything, but I hate the disconnect of games that I enjoy vs the games my close friends enjoy. It's basically killed my ability to enjoy most competitive multiplayer games.

At this point I mainly just play single player games and scratch the competitive itch with some ARAM in LoL. It's nice when I get to play some ARAM with friend's but I'm mainly solo.
