For my entire life “Queer” was not an insult and I'll never think of the word as something negative, not in the slightest.

We keep thinking of words the right invented or appropriated only to insult us, but let us cherish our victories. Whatever the right comes up with, sooner than later it will be ours and we'll wear it with pride.
