Two observations from my eldest daughter's high school prom this past Saturday:
(1) Pre-social media, you would get pictures taken actually at the prom. Now, the evening is centered around going to some location outside of prom to take pictures for social media. The actual prom is an after thought.
(2) How do you get glitter off of car seats, floor mats, and the console? When did glitter become a requirement for high school formal dresses? And why? I'm not a glitter fan.
