"content": "The Time Spiral in McPhun's Park in the East End of Glasgow. It tells the story of Glasgow Green from its earliest recorded history until the present day through plaques mounted on boulders made from Scottish Gneiss, which at three billion years old are amongst oldest rocks in the country. It spirals outwards, allowing more rocks, marking newer events, to be added over time, although currently the most recent one is for 1996.\n\n#glasgow #publicart #glasgowgreen #glasgowhistory #timespiral\n\nhttps://media.mastodon.scot/media_attachments/files/113/968/443/125/804/970/original/ae66599c3572a19b.jpg",
