I don’t think this should change anyone’s minds about anything, especially the protesters. But an instance like this were there are protests at colleges across the country, which has almost no effect on 99% of people’s lives, is exactly the kind of thing Trump would invoke the Insurrection Act over.
His greatest regret is not doing it after George Floyd’s murder and he’ll look for any instance to do given another chance.
