#WritersCoffeeClub for Sept 20
How do you commemorate hitting a milestone?
I've been writing for a living for decades, at novel length. Typically 1-1.5 novels/year.
So, back when tech was actually advancing (rather than marketing churn) I tended to buy a new laptop or desktop a year. And typically timed it to celebrate finishing a novel. (I'd also take my spouse to a high end restaurant meal by way of apology for vanishing into my own head for a few months.)
These days? Not so much.
