Where I live, it's a regular thing multiple times per year. Only one big show in the area on the 4th, but I never go out to see that. I have always appreciated that when I drive around this area, like last night, I'll catch small bursts of fireworks on the drive. Lots of small gatherings around here.
As far as myself shooting them off.. it's definitely been about 6-10 years. Dating back to my stunt that left my ear ringing permanently. 🫣 I chose to be rather stupid in that moment, but you live and learn. Am lucky that it's just hearing damage. Could have been my eyes!
Growing up I had a fascination with bottle rockets. Thankfully I grew out of that phase. 🤣 Those things are straight up regarded.
