Picture it: River Forest, Illinois, 1974. #MyOldGreeks are at another wedding. This time it's my parents taking the vows. Check out these wedding fashions! The peach frills on the groomsmen's shirts with those giant lapels on the jackets are tame compared to that brocade (let's be honest) polyester on my father.
Fun fact: because this was my mom's second marriage, the church would literally not allow her to wear white, so light blue it was.
