The flight voice recorders on planes in the USA only have 2 hours of data in a loop... what the fuck?

okay but why don't we just record it anyway and we can use AI tech to automatically redact anything unrelated to the flight itself but the redacted content could still be retrieved if there's a serious incident that needs a full review?
