I demoed them a while back. The effect is pretty good. Without games or pr0n it won’t appeal to consumers. Could be good for simulators and training but not at $3K per student.
Any AR stuff outside of watching movies on airplanes could be done better with phones. And who’s going to pay $3K for a movie player? One with a battery that dies after one movie?
