Tiles may be blown from roofs while railways and roads could be disrupted.
The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning from midday on Wednesday until 7am on Thursday in the following areas:

— Southwest England
— West Midlands
— North England
— Scotland
— Northern Ireland
— Wales
