🧵 The world is wondering why 71 year old archaeology professor, Ze'ev Erlich, was at the front lines in south Lebanon.

I'll tell you: he was a looter. He was there to advise the IOF what artefacts to steal.

This is speculative, I admit, but it explains several facts reported by Israeli media. First, he was killed at the site of an ancient fort. Coincidence? Doubt it.
