Many people can give out the many attributes of Bitcoin. I love Bitcoin. My Job, as a proffesional investor is to look for risks and assess those risks.
Bitcoin does have a MASSIVE RISK. The risks I see are largely surrounding a combination of Coinbase and Brian Armstrong. Together, they represent the below series of risks to the Bitcoin ecosystem.
1. HUMAN RISK concentration ( Brian & Company) .
2. Great Corporate concentration risk
3. Great location(s) geographic risk.
4. Greatest reputational risk.
5. Greatest single brand/goodwill risk.
6. Greatest centralized target vector for CIA
7. "Murphy's risk" of the unknown part of Brian.
These risks are huge, deadly serious, and why I am a diversified investor still. I'd love to see a world were I could just save all my money in bitcoin, but that's not gonna happen with Coinbase around.
Remember: NOT YOUR KEYS- NOT YOUR FUCKING COINS.
I will predict RIGHT HERE and RIGHT NOW. Coinbase will be attacked to an uncertain degree, sooner or later. You can count on that. My advice, get your bitcoin OFF of Coinbase.
