I'm pretty sure they used different config files in the past and ignored each other. Is this a Wayland issue? My Arm 64 Pinebook Pro laptop has an interesting Wayland-v-X issue. Using default Manjaro OS and KDE on Wayland the video editor Kdenlive won't render output. It's fine on X, but then Firefox buttons and menu are all displaced relative to the mouse pointer unless FF is run full screen.
