A lot of my angst and anxiety comes from trying to figure out life. Trying to create robust mental models that stand up to scrutiny. How to live. How to work. How to do it all ethically.
But here's the thing.
All the secondary, non-experiential information that anyone draws about life comes from other humans. And most humans are either dumb or only smart enough to try to misdirect you away from their own personal ideology's blind spots.
And now we are at the point where all the information is shit. Even the science is undergoing a reproducibility crisis, so you can't even rely on some smug science enjoyooor to tell you how it all works, because EVEN they are just spouting off something that they or anyone else hasn't bothered to confirm.
We are in a new Dark Age. AI fakes, deep fakes, disinfo; we don't yet have tools to help us process truth deeper than what you can confirm from personal experience. And you won't see the solution in your lifetime.
So don't stress that you cant make sense of any of this. It is practically designed not to make any sense. You didn't break it, and you very probably can't fix it in this lifetime. Just chill. God's in control. Take care of yourself and the people you love. Do your best.
