It depends on the chiropractor. Some will adjust you, but not help you change anything about your lifestyle, so they'll temporarily increase bloodflow to your joints, but won't decrease the toxins in your body that are actually causing the problems. This turns you into a lifelong customer, which is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry does. It's a high time preference practice that makes you feel good in the short term, while doing nothing (or even hurting you) in the long term.

I recently became a patient of DrDivine (npub1g89โ€ฆtc8k)'s at his business, divinedesignnaturalhealth (npub1wkxโ€ฆ4esf), and while he does chiropractic work, he also teaches his patients how to decrease the level of toxins in their body while increasing their intake of nutrients, and provides tools and resources to do it, to permanently fix literally any sickness or injury they may have. He promotes a low time preference lifestyle, so the amount of money his patients pay starts out high, but then trends to a little over zero with time, as your body gets healthier and stronger, which is the ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฒ of what the typical "healthcare" (really should be called "sickcare") industry does.

So if you go to a chiropractor, be very careful about what they promote. And if you find a low time preference bitcoiner that also teaches healthy living and accepts bitcoin for his chiropractic work, that's all the better!
