I think my husband and I may be the rare case of autistic and allistic people successfully dating and eventually marrying – unless they’re already educated in bridging those gaps and prepared to do some heavy lifting at the top. Which kind of disqualifies any casual relationship situations between us. And even when we get all those things right, like my husband and I very *luckily* did, it’s still a regular chore to hammer out our miscommunications and worldviews. Sucks!
