I received CNC samples from Parts Badger and Xometry. All look acceptable.
I designed them in Autodesk Fusion, because it's the only CAD that can output STEP, which is not thousands upon thousands of dollars (like SolidWorks), and which actually works (unlike FreeCAD).
But wait. Almost all vendors are unable to process STEP. They either do not even accept it, or throw errors.
With PB, the website blew up on STEP. I uploaded IPT, it threw it into manual quote. A guy e-mailed me, and said "cannot figure this shit out, please send me your STEP".
Domestic production is about 2 times more expensive than China, but critically I don't have to report gun parts domestically. I'll have to eat the premium and pass it on to customers.
