I (as in me alone, and not a company) did some IT work for a small business whose owner I know personally. She wants me to invoice her for this work (about 4 hours of mucking about with web server settings and DNS entries) to keep everything above board, but I have no idea what I should be charging her.
What's the going rate for IT work?
I have loads of experience in the IT space, but mostly just as a developer. My experience in website config and DNS comes from self-hosting OSS :)
