After an urgent care appointment for his infected finger, and an oncologist appointment for Non-hodgkin's lymphoma this morning, my husband was ready for a break.
He announced that he, and Summer would be going for a walk. Immediately, I thought this isn't a good idea. But, I totally understand how tired he is of sitting in his recliner, just being sick. So, instead of saying anything negative I offered to go along. We agreed that he would take frequent rests and we would let him set the pace.
It worked out.
He needed the fresh air and change of scenery.
Summer was ecstatic to have both of her humans out on the trail.
We had fun.
