In todays bit of stupid, I asked Google Maps for a route from home to the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society. I specifically asked it for "walking" (only because they don't have a wheelchair option).
It gave me the exact same route as if I was driving. Right down the road. Didn't try and show the journey via footpaths.
