It would reduce the positive impact on our work and our ability to collaborate with companies building on it. GPLv2 is fine, but GPLv2 or later communicates a risk of the project moving to GPLv3 later, unlike a GPLv2-only project like the Linux kernel. If a project uses any GPLv3 code not available under another license, it can't be included in GrapheneOS.
