I think offline cold storage for the long term with paper and hard drive backups. Using an officially recommended wallet by the Bitcoin community. Is the way to go for having a modern day savings account.
Using a lightning wallet filled with just enough sats to zap people on nostr and spend on daily living expenses. Is the modern day checking account.
